More Details

Please allow us to share a few more details based on some of the feedback we have received.

  • For those with limited mobility, we have taken steps to make it easy for you to get around.  The distance from drop off to a seating area or restroom is 100 feet or less.
  • Restrooms will be positioned in close proximity to the gathering area, again , less than 100 feet away.
  • The golf outing on Friday June 6th is a scramble format.  Players of all levels can contribute, and have a great time.
  • There will be some recreational activities, but nothing too stressful. We heard early on that we needed to remember that we will be 67 or 68 years old. Expect an opportunity to participate in corn hole, bocce ball, croquet, horseshoes, and possibly even a beer keg relay!
  • We will be polling those attending to get an estimated count.
  • We will use Kevin’s reconstructed barn as our centerpiece of activity.  Registration and casual conversation will begin in this area.
  • If  weather is a concern, fear not. There will be plenty of seating and cover from any inclement weather in a tent, immediately adjacent to the barn.
  • Music from our high school  years will fill the air throughout the day.  Have a favorite song from back then?  Send us an email so we can get it on the playlist.

This is an opportunity for you to redefine “Senior Skip Day!”  Rekindle those memories of Swing Out by ensuring you pack your sunglasses and are ready for the cues.
