Take a Step Back – Senior Skip Day
Take a step back in time, to the days when long hair, bell-bottoms, fast cars, Friday night football games, and having fun with good friends was the norm. Dust off those old memories and stories of 50 years ago. Rekindle old relationships and form some new ones. Catch up on what everyone has been doing. Join us for a fun time that you don’t want to miss.
The Venue
For this year’s reunion, we are lucky enough to have a unique venue through the kind donation of classmate Kevin Gasior who has made available his circa 1865 restored barn. In this rustic setting, we’ll be roasting a whole pig and having a BBQ with all the fixin’s. There will be activities like kickball, cornhole, and streamed music from the classic rock era we all grew up with. Of course there will be cold beer on tap and wine as well. Golf Outing
The NFHS Class of 1975 golf outing will be Friday, June 6, 2025 beginning at noon. We will play an 18 hole, 4 person scramble at Tryone Hills Golf Course located at 8449 Old US Highway 23 in Fenton, MI. The course is about one mile west of Green Acres, the site of Saturday’s reunion activities.The cost of the golf outing is $45 and includes 18 holes of golf with a cart, and prizes for longest drive on par 5’s, closest to the pin on par 3’s, longest putts, shortest drive, and lowest team score, amongst others. So put your teams together – all reunion attendees are welcome to play. After the golf, those interested can gather in the clubhouse for food, beverages, and reminiscing. “Almost 50 years ago, I wrote the following anonymous words on a piece of paper and stuffed it in the suggestion box at school: “Time, goes by so fast. What was the future soon becomes the past. As for tomorrow, now it’s today. But it all seems like only yesterday.” Never made it into the yearbook but it did appear in the yearbook Epilogue. Wow, 50 years, hard to believe. Time really does go by fast. I’m looking forward to catching up with old friends, hearing what everybody’s been doing, seeing lots of pictures, and reminiscing back to the days when cool meant bell-bottoms that touched the ground, long hair and loud rock music. Kickball, roasted pig with all the fixin’s and free beer? What time should I be there?”
